What foods can cause nightmares?

Have you ever felt like you were falling from a building while sleeping or someone was choking you? If so, it may be due to certain foods that you may have nightmares after eating. According to Al-Rajal Magazine, this has been confirmed by a recent study. Here is a list of some of the foods that cause nightmares.

1- Chocolate: Although advertisements advise you to eat chocolate before going to bed for a good night's sleep, 6.3% of the research participants said that eating chocolate before going to bed does not help them sleep well. 
2. Fast food: 6.3% of the participants in this study said that their interest in fast food has disturbed their sleep. Fried fast foods are high in fat and increase heartburn. Sometimes they cause nausea. 
3- Macaroni: Macaroni or pasta contains carbohydrates. The study found that 12.5 percent of volunteers had nightmares after eating pasta.
4- Meat: Although eating meat tastes good, 12.5%   of the people in the study found that they have nightmares because of it. 
5. Pizza: Many people like to eat pizza at night, especially before going to bed, but because of its acidity, 9.4% of the people in the study had nightmares. 
6- Spicy food: Indian food adds a special flavor to the dish. Some of these are eaten before bedtime, but the spices in them are very hot, so these are considered the worst options to eat before bedtime, as they increase the feeling of irritation that It happens through direct dreams.
7- Pickles: It contains high amount of salt, acidity and vinegar. 9.4% of participants have nightmares due to pickles. 
8- Milk: Although it is shocking, but this study found that 6.3 people who drank milk before going to bed, they had nightmares in their sleep. 
9- Sweets and Sugar: Sugar can disrupt the metabolism and cause insomnia. More than 6% of the participants said that eating sweets before going to bed has caused them pain and disturbed dreams.
