Martin Guptill and Thisara Perera looking forward to playing in HBL PSL 6Pakistan Super League season six replacement draft was held recently. The defending champions Karachi Kings roped in Kiwi opener Martin Guptil and Sri Lanka's all-rounder Thisara Perera. 

The duo will be seen in action in June when the remaining matches of PSL six will be played. Both the Kings new recruits are excited to wear the blue jersey of Karachi and they let it known through a video messages posted on the franchise social media accounts. 

The explosive opener from New Zealand, Martin Guptill added that he cannot wait to represent Karachi Kings and play some good brand of cricket while hoping he can add another silverware to the Kings trophy cabinet. 

The 34-year-old has wealth of experience in the shorter format of the game, playing 102 T20I for his country. 

"Just a quick message to say how excited I am to be joining the champions Karachi team. I can’t wait to get over there and play some really good cricket and hope to bring home another trophy. Ye hai Karachi! (This is Karachi),” Guptill said

Meanwhile Sri Lanka’s impressive all-rounder Thisara Perera was equally delighted to be a part of the Karachi Kings franchise.

“This is Thisara Perera and I am excited to be a part of the kings’ family at the PSL 2021. Ye hai Karachi! (This is Karachi),” Perera said.
