Zimbabwe name five uncapped players for Pakistan Tests

Zimbabwe have announced a 16-man Test squad for the two-match series against Pakistan.

They have named five uncapped players -- Luke Jongwe, Richard Ngarava, Roy Kaia, Milton Shumba and Tanaka Chivanga.

All-rounder Sikandar Raza, who survived a cancer scare after he underwent an emergency bone marrow biopsy following fears of a cancerous infection in his right arm, has been left out as he is still in the recovery process.

Ryan Burl, Wesley Madhevere, Richmond Mutumbami and Brandon Mavuta - who were part of Zimbabwe's recently concluded series against Afghanistan - couldn't make the cut this time.

Zimbabwe Test Squad: Sean Williams (c), Regis Chakabva, Tendai Chisoro, Tanaka Chivanga, Luke Jongwe, Roy Kaia, Kevin Kasuza, Wellington Masakadza, Prince Masvaure, Tarisai Musakanda, Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava, Victor Nyauchi, Milton Shumba, Brendan Taylor, Donald Tiripano.

The two Tests will be played in Harare, beginning on April 29 and May 7.
