PSL 6 - Pick order for replacement draft revealed

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will conduct the replacement draft for the remaining matches of the sixth edition, which had been suspended after 14 matches following a number of Covid-19 cases emerging among the players and staff members.

The draft will take place on April 27 at a virtual conference. According to ESPNCricinfo, 134 players, from Australia (10), New Zealand (12), South Africa (18), Bangladesh (7), West Indies (25), Sri Lanka (24), Zimbabwe (6), Afghanistan (16), Ireland (5), UAE (5), Scotland (4), Nepal (1) and Oman (1) are available for the draft.

The roster includes some big names including Martin Guptill, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan in the platinum category, and Usman Khawaja, Adam Milne, Morne Morkel, Tamim Iqbal, James Faulkner and Joe Burns in the diamond category.


No England player will be free to join due to the dates clash with Vitality T20 Blast, which begins on June 9, after the ongoing County Championship.

The league will resume from June 1 following a seven-day mandatory quarantine period for all participants. 

The quarantine period will start from May 22 as the PCB has booked an entire hotel for all the players, support staff, broadcasters and every single person connected to the tournament. PCB settled a deal with a British company named Restrata for managing the bio-secure bubble.
