PCB to appoint a new PSL director

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to bring in a new director for their most prized brand Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to ARY News, PCB's Director Commercial Babar Hamid is looking after PSL affairs these days. However, soon the board is going to finalize the appointment of a new PSL director.

The PCB has faced a lot of criticism after the postponement of the sixth edition after people raised voices over mismanagement and breach of the bio-secure bubble. According to reports, PCB will advertise for PSL's new director in the next few days.

Those who are interested can apply for the position before May 13. The first assignment of the new PSL director would be the remaining matches of the PSL-6 that are set to commence from June 1. All the remaining matches will be staged at National Stadium, Karachi.

The tournament will end on June 20 in Karachi. Initially, a serious breach in the bio-secure bubble led to an indefinite postponement of the PSL-6 and only 14 matches could be held. Moreover, Dr. Sohail Saleem has also resigned from his post of Medical Advisory Committee.
